HIV/AIDS Treatment Adherence, Health Outcomes and Cost Study
As the Coordinating Center and as a member of the Steering Committee, JBA had the following technical responsibilities: review the intervention plans and study designs of all sites involved in the study; develop a multi-site core assessment battery and intervention service record; establish criteria for interviewer certification on the use of instrumentation; coordinate interviewer training on the assessment battery; develop a protocol for survey administration; conduct pilot tests of the common survey battery and protocol; develop a plan to ensure data collection quality; develop procedures for collecting and submitting data to a central data repository; and coordinate ongoing conference calls to facilitate communication among members of the study sites and Steering Committee.
