National Estimates of the Number of Boarder Babies, Abandoned Infants and Discarded Newborns
For our study to develop national incidence estimates, JBA collected data through telephone surveys of child welfare and hospital staff in over 1,200 hospitals nationwide. In addition, telephone discussion guides were developed, a team of telephone interviewers was trained and supervised and a sophisticated data collection and management system was established.
