Announcing the Elyse Kaye Achievement Award
As one of JBA’s first employees, Elyse Kaye established herself as a leading national child abuse and neglect researcher and built a portfolio of projects that continues today. She quickly rose to Executive Vice President and ownership partner before retiring in 2013. Elyse bettered the lives of vulnerable children through applied research and remained committed to them through her generosity and charity.
The Elyse Kaye Achievement Award was established this year on the first anniversary of her death. It honors not only Elyse’s hard work and dedication to children but also her contributions to firm-wide priorities throughout her career at JBA. The first recipients of these financial awards were Grace Atukpawu-Tipton, Ph.D., M.S.W., for her leadership in moving JBA toward positive organizational change in diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI) and Nichole Sturmfels, M.P.H., for her leadership to ensure a regulatory-compliant approach to protecting IT system security.
