JBA Selected as Technical Assistance Partner on New MIECHV Technical Assistance Resource Center

James Bell Associates is pleased to announce its role as a partner to Education Development Center on the newly awarded Maternal, Infant, and Early Childhood Home Visiting (MIECHV) Technical Assistance Resource Center (TARC 2), funded by Health Resources and Services Administration.

Under this 5-year contract, EDC and JBA will continue providing technical assistance to MIECHV awardees nationwide through individualized support, peer learning opportunities, and practical resources designed to strengthen implementation of evidence-based home visiting programs across states, territories, and jurisdictions.

Through TARC 2, the team will support awardees in:

  • Strengthening performance measurement, continuous quality improvement (CQI), and evaluation capacity
  • Using data to guide decision making and improve program performance
  • Facilitating peer learning and shared problem-solving

For JBA, this award represents a continuation of more than 15 years of technical assistance and evaluation leadership within MIECHV, building on the firm’s support of home visiting programs since the initiative’s inception. JBA has worked alongside federal partners and state systems to strengthen implementation, evaluation, and learning across home visiting programs nationwide.

JBA’s leadership team for the contract includes Susan Zaid, Mallory Quigley Clark, and Kim McCombs-Thornton, who bring deep expertise in maternal and child health, technical assistance, evaluation, and systems improvement. Together, they will help guide JBA’s contributions to data-informed technical assistance, peer learning strategies, and capacity-building supports for awardees.

JBA looks forward to continuing this important work with EDC and HRSA to strengthen home visiting systems and improve outcomes for children and families nationwide.
