Survey to Assess Section 508 Conformance
The U.S. Forest Service needed to assess its knowledge of and conformance to Section 508, an amendment to the Workforce Rehabilitation Act of 1973 mandating all electronic and information technology used by the federal government be accessible to people with disabilities.
JBA designed a web-based survey to assess Section 508 knowledge and conformance among the agency’s 40,000 employees. The survey helped identify gaps in training, support, and implementation of Section 508 requirements.
