Promoting Family Engagement in Home Visiting: An Overview of Innovative Efforts

Many differ, however, in how they measure success. Do parents and caregivers need to complete an entire program to be considered engaged? Can they be actively involved in services for a brief time? This brief explores three emerging efforts to define and promote family engagement in home visiting:
