Tribal Public Health

A woman smiles genuinely.

Tribal communities are actively addressing the health needs of their citizens through innovations in chronic disease treatment and prevention, and through improved behavioral health care systems and access to care.

JBA understands the urgency and complexity of evaluating and supporting efforts to improve the health of tribal communities. We provide evaluation services to tribal public health initiatives focused on adolescent substance use prevention, child and adolescent mental health, tobacco use prevention, dental health services, and physical activity promotion. We conduct process and outcome evaluations for tribal programs, develop evaluation plans for programs to implement locally, and support public health decision making by collecting and reporting data on the need for health services.
