Amanda Thomson, M.P.P.

Senior Research Associate

Amanda ThomsonAmanda Thomson has more than 10 years of experience in social science research, program evaluation, and technical assistance. She is trained in public policy methodologies, including survey methodology and evaluation. She has experience collecting quantitative and qualitative data. She provides technical assistance on evaluation readiness, including theory of change and logic model development, fidelity tools, and data collection.

Thomson is the project manager for the Tribal Home Visiting Resource Institute for Excellence, where she facilitates the coordination of staff, subcontractors, and funders to ensure timely completion of project deliverables. She is the state education data liaison for Latinos In Action Student Outcomes and Achievement Research Study: Planning; this work builds on previous technical assistance and implementation evaluation projects. She supports the grantee in planning for a future outcome evaluation, including developing sustainable methods and measures to understand student-level achievement.

Thomson received an M.P.P. in public policy methodologies from George Mason University.
